Old School house

School, now house. Dated 1736, with mid C20 additions and
alterations. Coursed squared stone, partly rendered, with
ashlar dressings and stone slate roof with single ridge stack.
Quoins and first floor band. 2 storeys; 2 window range. Gable
end, to street, has 2 C20 2-light casements and below, blocked
central doorway flanked by single 2-light casements with
chamfered mullions. All these openings have stone lintels.
Above the door, an oval panel with 4 keystones, with date and
a list of 5 benefactors. To left, mid C20 stone porch with
parapet and door. Right return has three 2-light casements and
a smaller window to right. Below, an off-centre glazed door
flanked by single 3-light casements. INTERIOR not inspected.
