It is about 18 feet high and comprises an octagonally-shefted ashlar crucifix, set within an ashlar four-centred arch set within about four feet high and 30 feet wide. The names of the Fallen are inscribed on stone tablets beneath the crucifix and under an inscription "THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE". A lower panel records those who fell in the Second World War.
