GV II

War memorial. c.1920. By FC Eden. Clipsham limestone in the form of a medieval churchyard preaching cross. On the pentagonal stepped base stands an octagonal shaft. At the top of this a brattished capital supports the cross which has a circular wreath round the four arms. The names of the Fallen in both World Wars are carved in Gothic lettering round the steps of the base.
A finely-detailed design standing next to the Church of All Saints (qv).
