Railway Bridge over Wyrley & Essington canal. c.1856. Cast iron with Staffordshire blue engineering brick abutments and sandstone pad. Solid panel iron parapet with interlaced arch pattern in relief, cast in panels. Moulded iron parapet coping. Stone capped brick pilasters. The parapet design is the same as two aqueducts carrying the Wyrley and Essington over the South Staffordshire Railway. Both of these are dated 1856 and were built by Lloyds Foster and Co. of Wednesbury.
