Shop. Early C19 shop with domestic accommodation above built
on site of a sequence of buildings of which the C15 brickwork
of the earliest remains in the cellar. Red brick under a
machine-tiled roof. 3 storeys and dormer attic. 2-window
range. Late C20 plate glass shop front under a prominent
fascia board. To the right is a canted bay rising through 2
floors and fitted with late C20 casements to the first floor
and a late C20 tripartite sash and simple sashes above. To the
left is a late C20 horned sash without glazing bars lighting
the first floor and a 6/6 unhorned C19 sash to the second
floor. Both these left-hand sashes have flush frames and
gauged skewback arches. Projecting cornice with modillion
decoration. Gabled roof with 2 dormers fitted with late C20
casements with glazing bars. No stacks.
INTERIOR: the cellar has patches of C15 brick to the south,
but there has been extensive rebuilding. Remainder of interior
