Small cottage in row. Late C18 or early C19. Rendered and
scribed, rubble rear wall, slate or asbestos-cement slate
roofs.
A small 2-storey unit, set forward from the adjoining property
to the right, and possibly with a rebuilt roof structure of
the early or mid C19. One window; a small 2-light casement
above small 3-light, small-paned early casement. To the left,
under a pent hood, a C20 glazed door. Brick stack to the right
gable. A full-width parallel rear range is in rubble,
continuous with the range to No.30 (qv), and with replacement
windows.
INTERIOR: this cottage has very low ceiling heights, and it
may be a little earlier than those adjoining either side.
