Detached house. Dated 1849. Good squared and coursed Portland stone front, rubble sides and back, hipped slate roof with tight eaves. Symmetrical 2 storeys, 2 windows, all plain sashes in plain reveals with flush stone lintels and jambs to stone sills. The central arched doorway also has a flush surround with fanlight above the original 6-panelled door, on one stone step. Between the upper windows is a flush datestone inscribed 'WS 1849'. Plinth, bold brick end stacks, and the left return has a small early 2-light small-pane casement at the eaves. Rear wing with stack. INTERIOR: not inspected.
