Barn range. Mid/late C18. Rubble, corrugated-iron roofs. A
10-bay barn lying N/S has a 6-bay barn attached, and opening
into it, to the E, near the S end.
The E range has a deep hipped porch to the left, with plank
doors, and full-height flush doors to the far side. There are
several ventilation slits, 2 buttresses to the S and one to
the N. An eaves-height rubble wall links this barn to the back
of the stable block of Westbrook House (qv).
The larger barn is half-hipped, and has a wide pair of flush
doors in the internal angle, a lean-to block, and, at the
right, a plank door with transom light. The gable has a
3-light casement, and rounded corners. On the far side,
centre, is a deep hipped porch with plank doors, and with a
side entry to the S. A later buttress to the right. The S
gable has a loading door and a 2-light opening, and the short
return has a 2-light opening and a wide plank door.
INTERIOR: roofs retain collar trusses and some early purlins.
