Terrace of 10 houses. Nos 4-8, c1808-13; Nos 9-13, c1810-13.
Nos 9, 10 & 13 refaced mid C20 in facsimile. Restored 1980s.
Designed and built by James Burton. Yellow stock brick (later
refacing) and stucco ground floors (No.9 rusticated) with
plain 1st floor sill band. 4 storeys and basements. 2 windows
each. Round-arched doorways with pilaster-jambs and
cornice-heads (Nos 9-13 with sidelights and reeded surrounds),
Nos 7 and 8 with original patterned fanlights, the rest
replicated C20, likewise all the panelled doors. Gauged brick
flat arches to recessed sash windows; 1st floor mostly
casements with cast-iron balconies. No.7 with balcony of 2
panels with intricate design including swags and female heads.
Parapets. INTERIORS: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES:
attached cast-iron railings with urn finials to areas.
