House probably of early C18 but with mid C19 stuccoed front. 2 and a half storeys
3 windows. End pilasters support modified entablature whose lower part is broken
by the moulded architraves of upper sash windows with glazing bars. Bands at
1st and 2nd floor cills. 1st floor sash windows have moulded architraves, and
cornices on console brackets, the centre one pedimented. On ground floor 2
late C19 shop windows (one without bars) flanking door of 2 long panels, with
rectangular fanlight, in modified entablature surround.

Nos 12, 16, 18A, 18, 22, 24, 26 & 28 form a group.
