Farmhouse and adjoining stables. Early C19 and late C19. Brick
and coursed rubble with hipped and gabled pantile and slate
roofs. Brick plinth, rebated eaves, pedimented gables. Single
and 2 storeys. 5 bays wide by 3 bays deep. 2 ridge and single
gable stacks. T-plan. Windows are mostly Yorkshire sashes with
segmental heads. House north front has to left, single storey
wash-house with hipped roof, door and small casement. To right,
plank door with bargeboarded hood, flanked to left by a sash and
to right by a larger casement. Beyond, to right, a casement. To
right again, casement in blocked opening. Above, blocked opening
flanked to left by single, and to right by 2 sashes. House has
to south west, Yorkshire sash and door with segmental head.
Above a sash and to right, projecting stair enclosure with a
small casement to west. Wash-house has 2 close boarded doors.
West front has double gable to left, off-centre casement with
timber lintel. To right, sash. Wash-house has close boarded
door and sash. Above, 2 sashes. Adjoining stable has to south
east, to left, door with segmental head. To right, sliding door
flanked by single casements. Above, to left, blocked opening and
to right, 2 casements with segmental heads. Single storey
stable, to right, has 2 casements.
