Pigeoncote, barn and stables. Early and mid C18, and early and
mid C19. Brick, coursed rubble, concrete block and mud. Gabled
and hipped pantile roofs, some steep pitched. Partial rubble
plinth. Herringbone bands. Cogged, dentillated and corbelled
eaves. Single and 2 storeys. C-plan. Barn to north east, mid
C19. 3 bays, has a pair of central barn doors each side. West
gable has, above, close boarded door. Principal rafter softwood
roof with wind braces. To its right, cowshed, single bay. South
east range has to left C19 cowshed, 5 bays, with timber posts.
To its right, stable, late C19, with 2 stable doors and 2 slatted
casements. To its right, higher stable, late C19, with slatted
casement and stable door. To right, doorway with steps. To
right again, 2 storey stable and pigeoncote. To left, stable
door flanked by single casements, all with segmental heads.
Pigeoncote has door flanked by slatted casement to left and metal
casement to right. North gable has unglazed opening. To right
again, 2 storey stable, early C19, has to left, door with
segmental head, flanked by single breathers. To right, small
casement flanked by single stable doors, all with segmental
heads. Above, small square opening. Return angle has stable
door. Stable at south west end has on street side, to right, a
square hatch. Gable, to its right, has a slatted casement on
each floor. Gable to west has, above, a square hatch.
Pigeoncote has 2 mud walls with integral nest boxes. Principal
rafter roof.
