II
Farmhouse, c1840 red brick with ashlar dressings and C17 timber-
frame rear wing. Concrete pantile roofs, hipped to main range
with 2 stacks on ridges of rear wings. Formal 2-storey front with
rusticated quoins, ashlar lintels and sills to windows and ashlar
central enclosed porch with angle pilasters and arched entry with
keystone. Windows are 16-pane sashes each side and casement pair
with margin-lights to first floor centre. North end wall has
similar quoins and 16-pane sash each floor. Rear wing is c1840
red brick to left with similar 16-pane sash each floor, then
timber-frame over rendered ground floor with 16-pane sash and small
3:9:3-pane tripartite sash to each floor. Framing has ogee-curved
angle braces. Roof hipped at west end. West end lean-to.
Shorter parallel south-west rear wing.
