7/30 Higherford Old Bridge



C16-C17. Single span stone packhorse bridge with bands over the voussoirs.
Originally without sides. Stone parapets added 1814-15. Spanning pendle Water
it forms a link in the old packhorse track between Colne and Pendle Forest.
Scheduled Ancient Monument.
