Over the door is a plaque inscribed "These Almshouses were founded and endowed
by Mrs Elizabeth Cheyney 1611, rebuilt 1848". A pair of single-storeyed almshouses.
One storey and attic. Two windows. Two gabled dormers. Faced with knapped
flints with long and short window surrounds and quoins of Roman cement. Casement
windows with diamond shaped latticed panes. Gabled porch with archway having
a pointed head.
