Pear Tree Cottage

Cottage. C18, refenestrated in C20. Ground floor red brick in
Flemish bond on plinth. First floor weatherboarded. Hipped
tiled roof with off central brick chimneystack to L-wing. Two
storeys; 2 windows. Lobby entrance type L-shaped. C20 wooden
casements. Original central plank door concealed by lean-to
porch with marginal glazing. Interior has several plank doors
and cupboards, One on the first floor having H-hinges, and the
left front room has plank panelling. First floor retains wide
pine boards and roof has pegged rafters with ridgepiece. On
Tithe map of 1839.
