Red brick with stone dressings, buttressed. Blue brick geometric designs. Banded
tiled roof with coped gable end. Corner bell turret with turret with clock on
wrought iron bracket. 1 storey, 8 paired windows with cusped Gothic lights. Wooden
porch. Northern facade with double gable ends the eastern one advanced to follow the
line of Wainsford Road. 5 light window in each gable. The focus of views down the
5 roads converging on this school. On a central island site in the middle of
Pennington.
The School, South Street with Wistaria, and Pencombe Cottages and the Building
in the garden of No 1 Wainsford Road (buildings of local interest) form a group
with St Mark's Church and the War Memorial, Ramley Road.
