House, formerly Shuttleworth estate cottage. C17 and C18, reworked early C19.
Timber framed construction, some fairly substantial, with colourwashed
roughcast render. Old clay tile roof. 2 storeyed L-plan building with
various C19 and C20 additions to N and S. SW elevation of main block: 2
windows to ground floor, 3 to first floor, all 2-light cast iron lattice
casements. C20 porch and door to LH. Red brick ridge stack with moulded
cornice and chamfered angles. Similar fenestration elsewhere.
