Circa 1830. On the seashore. Part of the Puckpool House estate, Puckpool
Road. Treated in a similar style to the House as a rustic cottage.
Asymetrical cross plan. Two storeys yellow brick and coursed rubble
partly cement rendered. The West wing has a four sided end with slate
roof hipped accordingly with finial at crown. Off centre cross gables
facing North and South with jettied first floor, timber frame applied.
Ornamental bargeboards and finials. Gabled dormer to South. Over the
West end first floor window the eaves rise in an eyebrow. Above cross
gable ridge, central brick stack with grouped diagonal and square set
capped shafts. Similar paired shafts to Eastern stack. Casement windows
of two and three lights with glazing bars. South side of West wing has
gabled porch with ball and spike finial, on rustic wood columns and
brackets.
