C17 timber-framed and plastered house built on an L shaped plan with a cross
wing at the south end. Two storeys. The cross wing and the main block
are jettied on the east front on exposed joists. The front is pargetted
in panels with traditional patterns. The north end has exposed timber-framing.
Three window range, modern casements. The gable of the south cross wing
has original carved bargeboards. Roof tiled, with a gambrel roof at the
north end and a central chimney stack with grouped diagonal shafts and a
later capping. (RCHM 9).
