Corner house, now pair of shops. c1830 altered mid C20. Brick,
painted on the ground floor with rubbed brick flat heads,
tile-hung S front, tiled hipped roof. Double-depth plan with
NE range facing New Street.
3 storeys; 3-window range. Corner site has splayed 1-window
corner with a plain doorway and mid C20 door, left-hand
doorway in High Street and 2 small canted mid C20 shop front
oriels to both elevations; horned plate-glass sashes to first
and second floors in flush frames. Matching 4-window New
Street return has 2 oriels and a first- and second-floor blind
window second from right.
INTERIOR altered in mid C20 office conversion. Included for
group value.
