Cl7 timber-framed and plastered house, extensively altered and added to
in the C18 and C19. The front is faced in C18 or early C19 red brick, with
a parapet with balustraded panels above each window range and a wood cornice
with paired modillions. Two storeys and attics. Four window range of double-hung
sashes with glazing bars. The ground storey windows are tripartite. Three
of the window ranges are set in segmental arched recesses with wood keystones
and stone imposts. A large C18 timber-framed and plastered wing extends
at the rear with a tiled mansard roof. There is an original chimney stack
with grouped diagonal shafts on a square base. (RCHM 16).
