C14 hall house extended in C16/17 and later additions. The C14 hall has
floor inserted and original roof with C16 roof above, one original truss
remains with arched braces, collar and foiled openings. Timber frame,
stone rubble and brick. Gables. Two storeys and attic, casement windows.
The front has three gables and is faced in painted brick. Brick end part
used as farm building. RCHM volume II, page 188, plate 39.

Wooding Farmhouse and barn to the north-west form a group.
