C17 or earlier. Timber-framed house restored by W H Godfrey since the war after
bomb damage and now fronted with red brick on the ground floor, above tile-hung
facing Mill Road and faced with stone rubble facing Castle Street. Hipped tiled
roof. Modern casement windows including one bay window on the first floor.
Two storeys. Five windows. Vaulted cellar of about 1300 below the building.
