Late C14 west wing reconstructed In C17, rubble, one storey and attic,
casements, slate roof with gable end, retaining cruck truss, and imported
late C14 timber frame porch, gabled, two storeys with oversailing upper
floor on heavy brackets, two centred entrance arch, the main block of
house is late C19 brick. RCHM volume II, page 151, plate 31.
