SE Ol NE GOLCAR VIADUCT

2/140 Railway Viaduct

Railway viaduct, built in two halves. c.1845 and c.1890. Deep coursed rock
faced stone. Rusticated dressings. Ashlar string course and coping to parapets.
Two separate viaducts, side by side and each carrying two tracks. Each viaduct
has four arches (semi-circular) with brick vaults. Large ashlar string course at
springing of arches. Piers slightly battered.
