1835 circa. One storey and attic. 2 windows. Originally'ashlar, but two thirds of
the south front has been refaced with stucco, incised with lines to imitate stone-
work. 2 small gables and modern gabled dormer between them. Tiled roof. Casement
windows. This building was originally a Tudor Gothic cottage similar to Battle
Lodge in the parish of Battle (q.v.), but since it was first listed, it has been
much modified and simplified.
