C18 and later range of adjoining cottages.
No 58 Stone rubble. Old tiled roof. (Possibly once formed 1 building with adjoining
bay of No 60 qv). Centre chimney and door with modern porch. 2 1/2 storeys with
2 dormers. 3 windows, casements with modern leaded glazing. Roof carried low
at rear.
Nos 60 and The Watch In 2 parts, of which western bay forms part of the structure
of No 62 qv and the eastern bay possibly was once part of No 58 qv. White roughcast
facade. Old tiled roof in 2 parts with centre chimney. 2 storeys. 2 windows.
C19 casements with cambered head linings and glazing bars. Centre door with added
flat hood on brackets.
No 62 C18 or earlier. White stucco facade grooved to imitate masonry, plinth.
Centre chimney, centre door. 2 storeys. 2 windows on 1st floor, 4 windows on
ground floor sashes with late C19 glazing and segmental arches.
Nos 64 and 66 C18 or earlier. White stucco facade grooved to imitate masonry,
band at eaves, old tiled roof. 1 1/2 storeys, 2 gabled dormers break through eaves.
2 windows on ground floor, sashes with boxed frames and late C19 glazing. Paired
centre doors with moulded architraves and later flat hood above modern doors.
Nos 68, 70 and 72 1 building. Earlier C19 altered later. Red brick (No 72) rest
painted brick, plinth. Facade of No 68 advanced. Wide eaves. Old tiled roof.
Large off centre stack above door to No 68. 2 storeys 1 window each, sashes with
late C19 glazing. Nos 68 and 70 have 1 modern dormer each.
Nos 58 to 72 (even) and The Watch House form a group.
