Formerly No. 7. House. Dated 1740 for R and F C in panel over door, but may
be older. Coursed sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings; Welsh slate roof
with renewed stone coping on left gable; stone and brick chimneys. 2 storeys,
2 windows. Central ledged 2-panel door in raised stone surround with moulded
chamfer; incised stone lozenge above with date and initials. Renewed cross
windows, the lower part with sliding sashes, have flat stone lintels and sills.
End chimneys. Interior: L-plan stair at rear has splat balusters in imitation
of barley-sugar twist. 2-panel doors, some with central bead; first-floor beams.
