GV II

Group of 4 headstones to Quested family. James Quested, d.1719, and
Martha, d.1725. Somewhat isolated from the other 3, about 3 feet high
with scrolled shoulders and winged hourglass motif. The Children of
Stephen and-Penelope Quested, c.C18. About 2 feet high, with skull
raised over cross-bones, forming the head of the stone. Penelope
Quested, d.1723. About 3 ½ feet high, with groups of 3 skulls, the
lower 2 in each group inverted, as scrolled ensembles. Stephen
Quested, d.1730. About 3 ½ feet high with 3 winged cherubs and palm
fronds in scrolled head.
