5/244 Barn, 20 yards to west of
Manor House West

Barn. Dated 1629. Rubble with freestone quoins and dressings; double Roman
tiled roof with coped raised verges. Buttresses with off-sets. Segmental headed
doorway in centre of south elevation, the surround has a double ovolo moulding.
The north elevation has 2 buttresses and a central gabled, projecting porch with
a square headed doorway under a segmental relieving arch; single loop window and
date tablet above; later C19 square door and 2 windows to left. Putlog holes
and slit vents. Interior of 7 bays with tie-and-collar beam trusses.
