The house is set back from road behind a screen of 2 pairs of square brick
piers with stone caps connected by a low brick wall with stone coping, recessed
in segmental shape in centre between the groups of piers, currying contemporary
cast iron rails supported under bottom rail by iron balls under standards carrying
urn finials. The centre of the screen has cast iron gates, with cast iron
panel supports of interlacing circle pattern, with a 4 centred curved overthrow
carrying Campholder. Some later extensions at back. Large garden with fine
trees. Possibly designed by Henry Holland Architect of Broadlands.
