part of farm buildings at Tonacombe

GV II

Barn. C18 or earlier. Stone rubble, partly rendered, with corrugated iron roof, gabled at ends, formerly thatched. Long barn with entrance through double timber doors under timber lintel on east gable end. 2 ventilators in centre of south side with blocked opening to right. 5 entrances on north side. Interior: variations in floor level. Cobbled floors have open gutters. Roof trusses repaired, mortised collars missing.
