Originally a C15-C16 timber-framed and plastered hall house with a floor
and fireplaces inserted in the C16 or C17. (The roof has smoke blackened
timbers). Restored and renovated. Two storeys. Modern casement windows.
Some of the timber-framing is exposed on the north-west side. Roof thatched,
hipped, with a central chimney stack. (RCHM 28).
