1. 5118 SISTON LONDON ROAD (north side) Bridgeyate Common No 111 (The Whitehart Inn) ST 67 SE 4/57 II GV 2. Probably circa 1720s. 'L'-plan. Altered and restored. Rendered, modern pantile roof, end gables. Two gables to front each with a 2-light stone mullion window (set back ogee type). Two later bays with hipped roofs on ground floor, sash windows. Later central projecting porch with similar hipped roof. Left hand return elevation shews one original 2-light stone mullioned casement with transom and dripmould above another where the mullion and transom removed. Brick stacks, later bargeboards to all gables. Interior: left hand ground floor room has decorated stop chamfer to cross beam. Cellar door has oak ovolo surround.
