Small flint rubble church of C12 origin. The west tower is C14 with stone
rusticated quoins and a modern tiled pyramid roof. The chancel was built
in circa 1560. Red brick with C16 brick mullioned windows with 4-centred
arches. The east window is of 3-lights and the south windows have 2 lights.
The church was restored in 1885. The nave has a late C15 double hammer beam
roof, considerably restored. The south doorway is mid C12 and there is the
remains of a single light window in the north wall of similar date. The roof
is tiled (the roof to the chancel is modern). Graded for its interior architectural
features. (RCHM 1).
