C17 altered , 2 storey and attic, pantile roof, toothed eaves band. 2 near-flush 3-light sash windows. Central entrance with stucco porch. Interior: doors with fielded panels and H hinges, wide fireplace filled in, stop chamfered beam, hewn roof timbers, original attic stair.

West House, West Cottage and Leylands form a group.
