C16-C17 timber-framed and plastered building, possibly a surviving part of
the former Wincelow Hall which was destroyed by fire in the C19. The cottage
stands in a moated site and may have been part of a hall range. One storey
and attics. Two window range, casements. Roof tiled, with 2 gabled dormers.
The interior has exposed timber-framing, ceiling beams and joists.
