House, formerly farmhouse, mid C16. 3-cell lobby-entrance plan; 1 1/2 storeys
and attics. Timber-framed and rendered. Hipped, thatched roof with C17
chimneys of red brick; plaintiled gabled casement dormers. C20 casements with
leaded lights; some diamond-mullioned windows, restored mid C20. C20 gabled
plaintiled entrance porch with battened and boarded entrance door. An
unusually complete and well-exposed frame. Evidence for original doorways, one
with 4-centred arch at head; a number of original blocked windows; tension-
braced close-studding.
