Range of barns, and stables. C18, and c1900. Boarded and brick walls, with a
tile roof. A continuous range of buildings, 3 C18 barns are joined at their
ends and arranged in zig-zag form, the eastermost being connected to a
(north-south) barn of 5½ bays with 1 aisle, which at its north end is joined
to a barn (east-west) of 6 bays with aisles; all these are timber framed with
Queen post trusses, have hipped tile roofing, and boarded walls. The mid C19
range is laid out- in 3 angles to enclose the courtyard, the walls of brickwork
and roofs of tiles, with hipped dormers and lower windows beneath cambered
openings; the northern end of this block is early C19, of brick walling in
English bond.
