House, former laithe house. Mid C18. Watershot masonry, stone slate roof.
2 storeys. Quoins. All are double chamfered mullioned windows with almost
square reveals. 2 cells. That to left has 8-light window with 7-light window
over (with king mullion). To right of C19 inserted tall doorway with monolithic
jambs is 4-light window with same over. All have some mullions removed. Modern
glazing. Stone gutter brackets. Left hand return wall has single storey gabled
extension with quoins and dressed stack to gable with original entry formed by
doorway with tie-stones and simple chamfered surround. 2 stacks to ridge. The
converted attached barn is excluded from the item.
