House and attached barn. Early C18 and late C18. Hammer-dressed stone, stone
slate roof. 2 storeys. Double pile on plan under single roof of 2 uneven bays.
South facade has off-centre doorway with single storey gabled porch with one
moulded kneeler surviving. To left is 3-light double chamfered mullioned window
with 3-light flat faced mullioned window over. To right of porch is larger bay
with one large double chamfered window lacking mullions, with 7-light chamfered
mullioned window over retaining mullions but with square reveals. Watershot
masonry, quoins, projecting moulded stone gutter. Left hand return wall retains
double chamfered mullioned windows of 2 and 3 lights. 2 gable stacks and one
other off-centre to ridge. Built on to right hand end is barn with semi-
circular cart entry and single rectangular ventilator over. Coped gable with
kneelers. This has a lower roof line than house.
