C18, altered. Hammer dressed stone. West elevation rendered. Hipped slate roof. Three storeys. South elevation has two large windows with glazing bars on first floor, otherwise all modern openings. West elevation has four ranges of casements on first and second floors, and five sashes with glazing bars (one tripartite) on ground floor. Wall at southwest corner has pointed arched door in it.

No 11, The Fountain, Messrs Norman Goods Warehouse, No 13 (Clarence House), the Methodist Church, The Bridport Arms Hotel, Ship Cottage, Gull House, The Dinghy and Pier Terrace form a group.
