GV II

House, now inn. Early C20 front to C17 core. Roughcast; Welsh
slate roof; brick stack to left front; brick stack to rear;
massive rubble stack to right rear. 2 storeys and cellar;
4-window range: 2/2 casements. C20 inn-front with central
half-glazed door, and screens; to right, 4-light window with
casements; to left, 2 late C19 6/6 sashes in broad beaded
cases, and curved light in left return; moulded fascia-board
on fluted pilasters, overall. Right returned side: roughcast;
C19 three-light metal casement, over window with broad glazing
bars; large purlins to rear pitch. Left returned side: dressed
stone buttress-stack; C19 2/2 casement, and C18 6/6 sliding
sash in box framing; blocked light with span-arch head to
gable; central C20 door in C18 fluted wood case; C19 windows.
Rear wing: C17 box framing on rubble plinth: paired C18 6/6
sliding sashes; weatherboarded gable, to rear.
