House. Early C19. Brick; slate roof; 2 brick axial stacks to
rear. 3 storeys and cellar; 2-window range: 10/10 French
windows (C20 to left) under segmental arches, with
wrought-iron lattice-work balcony guards; 4/4 sashes (C20 to
left) over; tile-coped gable with modillioned cornice.
Central, 6-panel door and fanlight, recessed under
semicircular arch, with moulded stucco architrave; flanked by
8/8 sashes, under segmental arches. Stone plinth and quoins;
weathered sandstone tablet: "Norfolk House". INTERIOR: dogleg
staircase with stick balusters and moulded rail. 1st floor:
cornices. Cellar: stone and brick-lined.
