House with shop. Mid or late C18. Rendered front, slate-hung
rear walls (front and rear walls probably timber-framed).
Slate roofs; rear section of front block with 2 roof spaces
set at right-angles to front spans. Rendered chimney on left
side-wall. Double depth front block; rear wing to left,
linking up with wider back block. 3 storeys. 2 windows wide.
Ground storey has mid or late C19 shop front with flanking
pilasters and entablature. To right, C18 6-panelled door, the
2 bottom panels flush; flat hood on shaped brackets. Upper
storey windows have moulded architraves: 2 with 6-paned sashes
in second storey, 3 with 8-paned sashes in third storey.
Modillioned eaves-cornice. Rear wall has 2 8-paned sash
windows in third storey, and another in second storey of wing
(all visible from St Lawrence Lane).
