Former Wesleyan chapel. 1878-80. Picton junior. Rock-faced stone with red granite shafts. Five storeys and five bays. Romanesque style. Central round arched entrance with granite shafts and iron gates, flanked by trefoil-headed doors (that to left blocked) with round-headed windows over. All windows have small-paned iron casements. Sill band on corbels to second floor. Second and third floor windows behind arcade with granite shafts. Gable with Lombard frieze and poppyhead finial containing five-light window and cusped roundel above.
