II

House. Mid C18; remodelled and extended early C19. Herringbone-tooled
sandstone, pantile roof, stone and brick stacks. L-shaped on plan.
2-storey, 4-bay front. Right of centre 4-panel door with blocked overlight
in fluted doorcase within semicircular fretwork porch; 16-pane sash with
plain lintel above. 16-pane sashes to left and right, those to left having
raised keyblock lintels; that to ground floor right with flat stone arch.
At end left, 2-storey inserted canted bay with sashes with glazing bars.
Stone sills to all windows. Rear: half-glazed and panelled door in the re-
entrant angle, beneath timber porch similar to that at front. Coped gables
and shaped kneelers thoughout. End and left of centre stacks.
