Large circa C16 timber framed house heavily restored circa late C19. Most of the
frame has applied boarding and the porch re-plastered. Sandstone plinth. Plain
tile roof. Gabled crosswings at each end. North end is double gabled and projects.
Two storeys. 1:3:2 window range. Mostly modern 2 and 3-light casements with glazing
bars. Two C19 gabled porches and panelled doors. Large brick chimney stacks with
diagonal shafts. Brick faced at rear in C19.
Including adjoining outbuildings. Wing at rear (north-west), probably C17, 2 storeys
ground floor sandstone ashlar, timber framed above with plastered infill panels,
loft door in gable end.
