Toll house. 1837 datestone. Rubble walls with granite
dressings; dry Delabole slate roof with outshuts to side walls
of rear wing; tall axial brick chimney. Symmetrical plan.
Tudor-Gothic style. 2 storeys; 1-window coped south gable end
with chamfered corners; central 2-storey coped projection with
datestone to gable; 2-light transomed mullioned windows with
square hoodmould over 1st-floor window, plus small single
lights to returns, and 4-centred arch to ground-floor former
doorway, all with casements with glazing bars. Right-hand
return has 2-light transomed window with hoodmould and
recessed panel over; outshut on right has central slate-hung
gabled dormer; kneeler to left-hand corner, 1980s extension on
the right; original doorway on left with planked door. Return
wall left of doorway has single-light window. INTERIOR not
inspected.
